Currently our session pricing is dependant on the therapist and ranges starting at $150 per therapeutic hour which consists of 50 min in session with the therapist and 10 min for therapist to document.
Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act, which Congress passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect patients from surprise bills for emergency services at out-of-network facilities or for out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, holding them liable only for in-network cost-sharing amounts. The No Surprises Act also enables uninsured patients to receive a good faith estimate of the cost of care.

We have partnered with Mentaya to help you save money on therapy. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will handle everything with insurance to make sure you get your money back. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. You can sign up here:

Superbills
We can provide Superbills for clients who submit their own claims to their insurance companies. These can be generated by your therapist for payments you made.
Some guidelines for Superbills include:
- We can only provide Superbills for those who are under the age of 18 on your insurance plan unless the adult on your insurance has signed a Release of Information for you to request and receive that information. The client may be on your insurance, but anyone over the age of 18 needs to give explicit authorization for you to get clinical information including session dates, costs, and codes associated with their treatment.
- We can only generate Superbills with payments the individuals themselves made. Any payments made by a 3rd party, including Bishop Pay, can not be included on a Superbill. This falls within Insurance Fraud (double-billing).
