Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act, which Congress passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect patients from surprise bills for emergency services at out-of-network facilities or for out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, holding them liable only for in-network cost-sharing amounts. The No Surprises Act also enables uninsured patients to receive a good faith estimate of the cost of care.

Policies to be aware of:
Waiting Room Policy:
To promote a place of safety and security we ask all clients to enter in from the front of the building (through the west entrance) to come to our Waiting Room. When you arrive please have a seat and wait to be invited into the therapy offices by your therapist.
Cancellation policy:
We request 48 hours notice for cancellations. Unless in cases of extenuating circumstances (as identified by the therapist) client will be charged the full price of the session with late cancellations.
Cancellations made prior to this window will have no penalty.
The timing of cancellation is important to help 3 things: the therapist to know what availability they have, the client to know they have consistency with their therapy, and clients who need appointments the time to have those.
Late policy:
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment time, it will be treated like a late cancellation.
We understand therapy is a large time commitment. We work to ensure a full hour for your session and clinical notes which is why we have policies to protect your time and the time of our therapists.
We know that as you make the time for these important appointments you will see more of your own growth and healing.
