Fate Resilience is a therapy podcast by licensed therapists for anyone looking to improve their life.

This podcast will address the basics that everyone needs to face life head on and heal from past wounds.

As we go through the emotions we learn about their purposes in helping us meet our needs. Sadness is often one we label as a "bad" emotion and has a negative rep, but when we learn how to read the emotion and what its purpose is we can use it to help us become a healthier, and more fulfilled person.

In the 2nd part of Meeting the Emotions we are looking at an emotion that has a lot of misconceptions. Even in bringing up the name of Anxiety we tend to elicit the response of, well, anxiety itself. Let's talk more about how we can use that emotion and what it's purpose is  in healthier living.

In Part 3 of Meeting the Emotions we are looking at Fear and how it helps us in finding Safety. By being able to validate Safety we are able to accomplish a lot in our lives to fulfill that effort of being healthier and happier.

In Part 4 of Meeting the emotions we look at Guilt. Guilt is different than shame, so we need to be aware of how that looks. Please join us as we talk about an emotion that feels uncomfortable but teaches us a lot about meaning.

This week are are meeting Disgust and how it's role is to protect. As we learn not to get stuck in the emotion, we learn how we can stay out of the extreme and use it for what it's for.

One CAN be the loneliness number, but as we know, two can be as bad as one. Loneliness has a purpose and we can learn a lot about ourselves when we are able to see that time as a time to regroup and see what need can be met. Join us as we talk about connection, and learning to validate a need for space.

As much as we strive to be Happy, what does that emotion actually tell us? In meeting this weeks emotion we are looking at what makes us happy, how do we find meaning in this emotion and what does it inspire us to do!

Not only do we start out with a great Dad Joke, we also get into explaining that feeling tired is a lot more than just needing sleep. Join us as we look into what things can make that feeling of being Tired into the sign we have needs not being met in all areas of life.

Ahhhhhhh what a great emotion we have this week! Join us in our discussion of what Peace is, and how do we finally have a chance to achieve it!

As was asked in the early 90's: What is Love? Today we meet Love and start talking about the types of Love, what it's purposes are and go even more basic with some Attachment work.  We discuss even more about healthy and non-healthy ways to view love.

With an emotion that feels very uncomfortable, and often as a result of others actions, we learn what it means to find meaning in Hurt and how it actually is important in the healing process.
