Our Story
Xenia was started by two therapists who have had the goal to provide a place of healing not just for the clients they serve, but also for the people who work with them.
We have extensive experience in developing and executing programs. In 2022 we decided to finally open up our own Group Practice to build a healthy community to assist in the healing of clients and the teaching and growing of ethical, research-informed therapists.
Our Mission
We strive to be a therapy office that can meet the various mental health needs of the community, to show all clients and staff respect, and to live by our Core Values of Transparency, Community, and Understanding.
Transparency
At Xenia we aim to be transparent with our clinical expertise and find therapists who will best help the client.
Community
We collaborate with other programs in the community to improve mental health access for everyone.
Understanding
We aim to validate and understand our clients' experiences as we listen and assist them in their journey.
"I don't think any of us like going somewhere expecting one thing and getting another. I don't like not being transparent about things like pricing, insurance coverage, and therapy types, so We have worked to make sure even on our website clients have access to anything they want to know. "

"I love educating our clients on what it takes to be a therapist, and what to look for when finding a good fit. We want anyone who works with us to know we will help them get the best of care with us. or with any referrals we send them to."
-Hailey Maire, LCSW, CST, Owner
"I love the Wholistic approach of therapy where you help the entire individual, Emotional, Physical, Mental, etc. We value the community as a resource, and strive to be engaged with the people and groups around us."

"'No Man is an Island.' No one is able to do anything alone in this world. In everything we do, somewhere many people have contributed along the way. We want to serve the mental health needs in the community as a way to give to those that have helped us along the way."
-Taylor Madsen, LMFT-S, Owner
" I think a lot of people with good intentions do harm when they don't have the appropriate training. To that end, we are always learning and trying to help others access more professional training to better help the client and the community in their own personal lives."

"The question of "Why" pops up everywhere. We understand there isn't always an answer to this, but the Understanding doesn't have to come from the answers. This process is where we learn, and we love to help our clients see how this journey is part of their healing process."
-Hailey Maire, LCSW, CST, Owner
